Quick answer

Verso is offline. As of August 27, 2026, verso.trading resolves to a Porkbun expired-domain page, the Y Combinator listing for Verso now serves a different company, Clarus, and the @VersoTrading account on X last posted on September 20, 2025. If you used Verso for a Kalshi screener and news alerts, the closest replacements are Predictions Terminal for analytics and Kairos for execution across Kalshi, Polymarket, and Predict.fun in one order book. The full ranking, the evidence, and live market data are below.

What happened to Verso

Verso launched as the Bloomberg terminal for prediction markets. It was a YC Fall 2024 company, and its own posts on X document what it shipped. On August 7, 2025 it opened V0: paste a Kalshi ticker into a dashboard, with contract filters, price and volume pings, and a smart order router listed as next up. On August 17, 2025 it shipped a Kalshi market screener tracking about 15,000 active contracts, with cross-venue integration described as coming soon. On September 4, 2025 it announced a news engine that mapped 30,000 articles to Kalshi contracts. On September 17, 2025 it joined Kalshi's builder program. That is the last product news on the account.

Three checks on August 27, 2026:

  • The domain is expired. verso.trading fails the TLS handshake and the HTTP version serves Porkbun's expired-domain notice. No pricing page, docs, or app.
  • The YC listing points elsewhere. ycombinator.com/companies/verso now renders Clarus, LP clarity across private markets, with the same founder and batch.
  • The X account is silent. @VersoTrading, 1,605 followers, 182 posts, last public post September 20, 2025.

We are not stating that the company shut down. We are stating what any trader can verify in a browser: the product is not reachable, and the two public records that vouched for it now say something else. Two figures that still circulate in roundups, 15,000 contracts and a 73% news accuracy rate, trace to a Kalshi-only screener and to a single third-party review site. Neither describes a product you can log into today.

The lesson

Third-party terminals die quietly. Before you route real money through one, check three things: is the domain live, when was the last product post, and does the venue itself list it as a builder. The ranking below applies that test to every tool.

What Verso users actually need to replace

Verso was a research screen with alerts. It never shipped execution. Edward Ridgely, co-founder of Stand, described the demand it was chasing in Polymarket's own newsletter on September 22, 2025: traders "wanted live trade feeds, the ability to follow specific traders, and filtering by P&L," and "complained about Polymarket's UI lacking functionality from other trading platforms." By April 2026 he framed the next step to Finance Magnates as "a growing need for infrastructure that lets people see and execute across markets in one place."

That is the split that matters when you pick a replacement. Analytics tools show you the spread. Execution terminals let you take it. On the five-minute Polymarket markets Ridgely tracked, "a few cents of slippage kills the strategy" and "55% of traders on the five-minute markets are bots." A screen that refreshes every five minutes, which is what BettorEdge reported for Verso, is not in that race.

What traders say they need, in their words

Verso has no Reddit footprint. Searches of r/Polymarket, r/Kalshi, and r/PredictionMarkets for Verso or verso.trading return nothing, which matches the timeline above. The threads that do exist describe the job a Verso replacement has to do. These are verbatim, pulled from the public comment feeds on August 27, 2026.

"Been trading on Polymarket for a few weeks now and honestly the native UI execution is rough. Orders sitting unfilled, slow af, and navigating between markets feels clunky when you're trying to move fast." u/TaiwanNumbawaaan, r/Polymarket, March 11, 2026. The same poster, replying to a data-only tool: "i think what I need is to trade on it."

"I'm currently using a custom bot to alert me when the spread hits a certain threshold, but the manual execution is still the bottleneck. By the time I log into both, the window often shrinks. Are there any unified dashboards that show the mid-market price across both?" u/EmbarrassedStudent10, r/PredictionMarkets, March 21, 2026, on a 10% Kalshi-to-Polymarket spread.

"The biggest trap with cross-venue arb is confusing visible spread with executable spread. ... Most people don't lose the edge because they found it late. They lose it because execution was never actually prepared." u/2tuff4u2, same thread.

"win rates read high because losing positions almost never get redeemed on chain, so they never show up as a loss anywhere. Any tool reading straight off settlements inherits that bias." u/Secure-Trouble5522, r/Polymarket, August 2026, on why whale-tracker leaderboards flatter their whales.

"I've noticed that the app hides markets I could easily find on the website. I would really appreciate it if I could customize my feed to show or hide specific categories or sports." u/SupremeEscape, r/Kalshi, January 19, 2026, asking for terminal suggestions. Zero replies.

Read together: the complaint is never about data. It is about fills, tab-switching between venues, and trusting the numbers a tool shows you. Rank your Verso replacement on those three, not on how many contracts it claims to track.

The market Verso left behind, in live numbers

Kairos reads every open market on Kalshi and Polymarket from the venues' public APIs and refreshes the totals every 15 minutes on the live data page. On August 27, 2026:

Volume and open interest are computed from the venues' own market-data APIs. Kalshi contracts are valued at $1 notional; methodology is published on the data page.

The other number worth knowing is what the answer engines say. Searchable ran 3,900 prompts about prediction markets through ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity between July 28 and August 27, 2026. Polymarket held 28.8% share of voice and Kalshi 28.0%. Kairos was the only terminal in the top 20 brands, at 3.9%. Verso did not register. When a trader asks an AI which platform has the fastest execution, it names a venue, because until recently no terminal had earned a name.

1. Kairos: best Verso alternative for execution across venues

Kairos is the only terminal on this list built around execution first. It aggregates the order books from Kalshi, Polymarket, and Predict.fun into one merged ladder with a composite spread, serves Hyperliquid HIP-4 outcome markets as data, and routes each order to whichever venue is showing the best price. Market and limit orders carry five time-in-force values (GTC, FOK, FAK, IOC, GTD), every order requires a worst-acceptable price so you never cross a moving book unbounded, and orders leave the terminal and reach the venue in tens of milliseconds. Position caps, drawdown stops, and kill switches are built in.

Kairos raised a $2.5M seed led by a16z crypto in February 2026. a16z's investment memo put it plainly: "tools like Kairos that support real traders, real liquidity, and real performance will accelerate their next leg of growth." Founder Jay Malavia's framing, to Casino.org the same week: "What the Bloomberg Terminal did for Wall Street, Kairos does for prediction market traders. Real-time data, news, analytics, and low-latency execution all in one place." There is no platform fee. You pay the venue, nothing else. Access is invite-based at app.kairos.trade.

For balance: a February 2026 review at kkdemian.com scored Kairos 3.2 out of 5 and flagged that there is "no public information available on Kairos' revenue model." That is fair. The product is non-custodial, your funds stay at the venues, and the company has said nothing about pricing beyond the $0 platform fee.

  • Pick Kairos if: you trade on more than one venue and want one order book, one position view, and one place to route orders
  • Skip it if: you only want a news and analytics feed and never plan to execute from the terminal, or you need one-click copy-trading today

2. Stand: best for whale copy-trading on Polymarket

Stand (stand.trade) pulls Polymarket and Kalshi into one trade-first interface with live volume, liquidity, and open interest, TradingView charts, and TP/SL and stop orders. Its signature feature is whale copy-trading, plus the Octobox, which puts up to eight order books on one screen. Manual orders are free; copy trades carry a 0.5% fee. Ridgely told Finance Magnates in April 2026 that Stand runs about $200 million in annualized trading volume and that "on Stand, users actually deposit funds," which is the design choice to weigh: custodial gives Stand the automations, and it also means your capital sits with Stand rather than at the venue.

  • Pick Stand if: you want to follow and mirror large Polymarket traders and manage several positions at once
  • Skip it if: you want non-custodial execution, Predict.fun coverage, or unified cross-venue routing

3. Predictions Terminal: best free analytics alternative

Predictions Terminal (predictionsterminal.com) is the closest analytics-only match for what Verso was. It runs a Kalshi-vs-Polymarket arbitrage scanner, tracks whale positions over $100K, scores news 0 to 100 for impact, and covers about 30,000 markets with sub-second latency. It does not execute live trades; you get a paper-trading terminal and a bot backtester instead. The free tier includes the dashboard and chat; Pro is $49 a month for all 22+ tools.

  • Pick Predictions Terminal if: you want Verso-style news and arbitrage intelligence with a published price and a live site
  • Skip it if: you want to place orders from the terminal

4. Converge: best zero-fee aggregator with Limitless

Converge (converge.market) unifies Polymarket, Kalshi, and Limitless with zero added fees, chain-agnostic and custody-free architecture, liquidity depth charts, and automated cross-venue arbitrage detection. It is in private beta with a four-phase roadmap. Apply the Verso test before you depend on it.

  • Pick Converge if: Limitless is one of your venues and you want arbitrage discovery without extra fees
  • Skip it if: you need a product that is generally available today

5. Synthesis: best institution-style dashboard

Synthesis (synthesis.trade) is an institution-focused dashboard with live order book viewing and cross-market price comparison across Polymarket, Kalshi, and Limitless. It sits closer to Verso's read-only, desk-style use case than to an execution terminal.

  • Pick Synthesis if: you want side-by-side order books for a desk or research team
  • Skip it if: execution and routing are the point

6. TradeFox: best for Polymarket-only traders who want charts

TradeFox (thetradefox.com) combines analytics and execution for Polymarket, with visual charts, filtered discovery, TWAP orders, and one-click execution. BettorEdge's May 2026 review lists net fees of 0.75% to 0.95% per trade with cashback, and a 4.2 out of 5 rating from five community reviews.

  • Pick TradeFox if: you trade Polymarket only and want a clean, beginner-friendly execution layer
  • Skip it if: you trade Kalshi, or per-trade fees matter at your volume

7. Sharpe Terminal: best for advanced order types

Sharpe Terminal (beta.sharpeterminal.com) is a trader-built platform with advanced order types and monitoring for Polymarket. It is in beta with a thin public record, the same profile Verso had a year ago.

  • Pick Sharpe if: you want conditional and advanced orders on Polymarket
  • Skip it if: you want multi-venue coverage or a product with a track record

The venues are building terminals too

Kalshi launched Kalshi Pro in July 2026: advanced charting, live trade feeds, an expanded order book, and multi-leg orders. Andy Chang, the product lead, told Finance Magnates that "Kalshi's active traders are already trading prediction markets and perpetuals like Wall Street trades equities and bonds." Paradigm, a major Kalshi investor, is building its own terminal according to Fortune. Venue-native terminals are fast and they are walled in: Kalshi Pro sees Kalshi. The same event often trades on Polymarket at a different price, and a single-venue tool cannot see the difference. That gap is the whole reason multi-venue terminals exist, and it is why the top of this list is a terminal that reads every venue.

How to choose a Verso alternative

Ask three questions. First, do you need to execute from the terminal? If yes, Predictions Terminal and Synthesis are out, and Kairos, Stand, Converge, TradeFox, or Sharpe are in. Second, which venues do you trade? Kalshi plus Polymarket is covered by Kairos, Stand, and Predictions Terminal; add Predict.fun and Kairos is the only option; add Limitless and it is Converge or Synthesis. Third, do you want to copy whales with one click? That is Stand. Then run the Verso test on your pick: live domain, recent product post, listed by the venue. If you are still comparing, our guide to prediction market terminals explains what each type of tool is for.

For most traders who used Verso, the reason to move is not that Verso went dark. It is that they want to trade where they research. That is why Kairos is the first pick: the same multi-venue view, plus the order ticket. Start trading on Kairos.
